I wrote this as a companion piece to Mary Jane’s “More Than a Paycheck.” It’s the partner’s perspective—a man who was so focused on the hustle that he didn’t see his woman’s spirit fading in the corner. This track is for anyone who has ever realized they were chasing the wrong treasure.
